## About the Role

* 3+ years of Database Administration experience.
 * Strong experience with SQL performance tuning and query optimization.
 * Hands-on experience with database architecture and design.
 * Experience managing database instances in enterprise environments.
 * Experience supporting application development teams.
 * Experience with multiple database platforms, including:
 + Oracle

## Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to support and optimize enterprise database environments across multiple database management systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a DBA who enjoys working with a variety of technologies, collaborating across teams, and supporting mission-critical applications in a complex environment.
Responsibilities

 * Manage database environments, including instance administration, security, user permissions, monitoring, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
 * Architect, implement, and optimize database solutions across multiple DBMS platforms.
 * Create and support SQL code, stored procedures, and database-related deliverables.
 * Provide database support and subject matter expertise to development teams and end users.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve database incidents, tickets, and service requests.
 * Participate in database design, requirements gathering, and solution architecture discussions.
 * Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and networking teams to resolve system issues.
 * Implement monitoring, alerting, and automation solutions to improve database reliability and uptime.
 * Perform database migrations, upgrades, and platform conversions.
