## About the Role

The primary technologies supporting the environment include Sigma, Snowflake, Tableau, Alteryx, Alation, dbt, and Palantir. Sigma experience is the highest priority, followed by Snowflake. Candidates with deep hands-on administration experience in at least one data platform are encouraged to apply and should demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn additional technologies., The ideal candidate is technically curious, comfortable working independently, and interested in using automation, scripting, and AI-enabled tools to improve platform administration and provisioning., * 2+ years of hands-on experience administering a data platform, cloud data platform, analytics platform, or similar technical environment.

 * Strong hands-on expertise in at least one data platform, with the ability and willingness to learn additional platforms.
\n

 * Experience with Sigma and/or Snowflake strongly preferred, with Sigma experience being particularly valuable.
\n

 * Strong understanding of user provisioning, permissions, security roles, authentication, workspaces, schemas, databases, and platform configuration.
\n

 * Proficiency with SQL.
\n

 * Experience with Python or another scripting language for automation.
\n

 * Understanding of data warehousing, databases, and ETL/ELT concepts.
\n

 * Experience troubleshooting technical issues involving data platforms, connectivity, access, and configuration.
\n

 * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
\n

 * Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
\n

 * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
\n

 * Demonstrated interest in automation and emerging AI technologies and the ability to identify opportunities to improve administrative processes.
