 * Programming with Java/J2EE and JavaScript; experience with Spring, Web Services, Angular, and SQL.
 * Hands-on CI/CD integration of test automation and quality gates.
 * Experience with Agile methodologies and distributed team coordination.
 * Requirement analysis, defect tracking, and comprehensive test reporting.
 * Strong analytical and technical skills with proven root cause analysis capability.
 * Independent, self-motivated approach suitable for a small QE team supporting many developers.
 * Nice to have: financial industry exposure; highly configurable SaaS product experience; relational database experience; Jira and Xray; AWS; Java + Playwright frameworks; integration testing across systems.

## Description

* Embed in an Agile team and participate in all aspects of product development to ensure quality is engineered from the start.
 * Design, develop, and maintain automated tests each sprint using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, ReadyAPI, and Rest Assured.
 * Integrate and optimize test automation within CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates.
 * Collaborate with project managers, analysts, developers, vendors, and business specialists.
 * Analyze requirements and business needs to identify issues prior to test execution.
 * Develop test plans, test cases, and project-aligned testing timelines; manage test reporting and signoff.
 * Perform defect triage and root cause analysis to drive remediation.
 * Champion quality engineering practices and contribute constructive Agile feedback to improve sprint outcomes.
 * Support integration testing across multiple systems and interfaces including flat files and APIs.
