## About the Role

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Tester with strong hands-on expertise in Selenium and Java. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in automation testing, test framework development, and quality engineering, with experience working in Agile environments and CI/CD pipelines., * 8-10 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Engineering.

 * Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in test automation using Selenium.
 * Minimum 5 years of strong programming experience in Java.
 * Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver and automation framework development.
 * Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline integration.
 * Good understanding of SQL and relational databases, with at least 2 years of experience.
 * Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
 * Familiarity with Jira and Micro Focus Octane for test management and defect tracking.
 * Strong understanding of functional, regression, and integration testing.
 * Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills., * Hands-on experience with Playwright.
 * Banking and Financial Services domain experience.
 * Knowledge of API testing tools such as REST Assured or Postman.
 * Experience with Jenkins, Git, Maven, or similar CI/CD tools.

## Description

* Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
 * Build, enhance, and maintain scalable automation testing frameworks.
 * Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
 * Identify, document, track, and troubleshoot software defects.
 * Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
 * Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
 * Execute SQL queries to validate backend data and database transactions.
 * Manage test cases, test execution, and defect tracking using Jira and Micro Focus Octane.
 * Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release activities.
 * Ensure application quality, reliability, and performance through effective automation practices.
