## About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, systems administration, and software engineering. This role requires a deep understanding of automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure management., * At least 5-7 years of experience in DevOps, Systems Administration, or a similar software engineering role.

 * Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for task automation.
 * Experience in designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab.
 * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for automating server provisioning and configuration.
 * Experience in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
 * Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools like Kibana or DataDog.
 * Ability to implement security best practices and manage system reliability.
 * Excellent communication skills for managing stakeholders at all levels.
 * Experience in both Windows and Linux environments.
 * Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

 * Cross-platform administration experience with Windows and Linux.
 * Experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) using SSO, OAuth, and Role-based Access Control.
 * Knowledge of Finance Cloud Platforms by Oracle and SAP.
 * Certification in cloud platforms.
 * Exposure to Agile and DevSecOps practices.

## Description

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

 * Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines to enhance software delivery processes.
 * Automate server provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
 * Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
 * Monitor system health and performance, setting up alerts and dashboards as necessary.
 * Ensure system security and reliability, managing secrets and troubleshooting outages.
