## About the Role

* Knowledge of Windows Server administration and desktop operating systems.
 * Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
 * Experience managing user accounts, permissions, and directory services.
 * Familiarity with system monitoring, backups, patch management, and troubleshooting.
 * Understanding of endpoint security, access controls, and system hardening.
 * Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
 * Ability to document technical procedures and communicate clearly with colleagues., * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
 * Previous experience in systems administration or IT infrastructure support.
 * Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, and Active Directory.
 * Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
 * Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure or AWS.
 * Familiarity with scripting tools such as PowerShell or Python.
 * Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft, CompTIA Server+, or other infrastructure credentials.

## Description

In this role, you will help administer servers, manage user accounts, monitor system performance, implement security updates, and support business-critical IT services.

Responsibilities

 * Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, workstations, and operating systems.
 * Monitor system availability, performance, storage, and resource utilization.
 * Manage user accounts, permissions, access controls, and authentication policies.
 * Administer Windows Server environments and support Linux systems as needed.
 * Maintain directory services, DNS, DHCP, and other core infrastructure services.
 * Apply operating system patches, software updates, and security configurations.
 * Monitor backups and assist with data recovery and disaster recovery procedures.
 * Investigate system outages, performance issues, and recurring technical problems.
 * Maintain system documentation, configuration records, and IT procedures.
 * Support virtualization platforms, cloud services, and infrastructure upgrades.
 * Collaborate with help desk staff, network administrators, and other technical teams.
 * Follow cybersecurity policies and established IT change-management procedures.
