## About the Role

* Active and transferable Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance is required prior to start. An active and transferable Top Secret clearance that can cross over to TS/SCI is also acceptable.
 * U.S. Citizenship is required due to security clearance requirements.
 * Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is required.
 * Minimum 2+ years of relevant professional software engineering experience. Internships, co-ops, research assistantships, academic projects, and graduate research do not count toward the required years of professional experience.
 * Professional experience designing and developing object-oriented software using Java.
 * Hands-on experience with Java multithreading.
 * Ability to work onsite in Aurora, Colorado.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Active CI Polygraph preferred.
 * Experience developing satellite planning and scheduling software or comparable systems that coordinate resources, activities, dependencies, workflows, or operational sequences.
 * Experience with the software development lifecycle using SAFe Agile methodology.
 * Software development experience using C++ and Python.
 * Experience developing microservices in AWS environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
 * Experience with test automation, DevSecOps, and CI/CD processes.
 * Experience with development and collaboration tools including Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, Jenkins, JUnit, Kafka, and Spring Boot.
