## About the Role

* Proficiency with the Linux command-line interface (CLI), utilities, and system administration tools.
 * Experience administering, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Linux-based systems.
Experience developing Bash and Python automation scripts to simplify system administration, improve operational efficiency, and streamline maintenance activities.

 * Working knowledge of the Agency's STE/STN security compliance requirements, including implementing and maintaining systems in accordance with established security policies.
 * Familiarity with Cisco networking technologies, including basic switch configuration and troubleshooting.
 * Familiarity with containerization technologies, including Docker, Podman, and containerd.
 * Experience developing, maintaining, and updating clear, accurate, and accessible technical documentation, including system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Position Desired Skills

 * Experience administering, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows-based systems.
 * Familiarity with NetApp storage solutions, including storage administration and management.
 * Experience with virtualization technologies, particularly VMware vSphere and vCenter.
 * Experience using the Atlassian suite of collaboration and project management tools, including Jira and Confluence.
 * Runs on curiosity, competence, and at least trace amounts of coffee, with room for light-hearted exchanges.
