## About the Role

* BS or MS in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or related field.
 * Lab experience using gas-phase analytical equipment w/equipment knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
 * Experience using MS Excel is required. MathCAD experience is desirable.
 * Ability to clearly communicate technical information and ideas to internal and external audiences.
 * Strong written and verbal communication.
 * Strong personnel team building skills.
 * Well organized and detail oriented.
 * Ability to lift 50lbs and climb ladders during test set-up.

## Description

Entegris is currently seeking aScientist I, Analytics & Metrologyto join ourQA LabsDepartment. This position will be based in ourSan Luis Obispo, CAfacility.

In this role, you willwork to ensure that the lab runs efficiently and safely while contributing to long term lab goals through experimentation and the use of lab instrumentation to improve lab procedures.This position will work with QA Labs to support sample/data collection, analysis and processimprovementsand analytical services to support data collection and analysis.

What You'll Do:

 * Perform analytical testing based on established methods.
 * Calibrate andmaintainscientific instrumentation (APIMS,CRDS,TDGCMS, IC, etc.) and laboratory equipment.
 * Lead Long-Term Stability monitoring and Gage R&R studies in Quality Assurance Labs.
 * Lead testing and documentation of incoming media testing laboratory.
 * Communicate results through written reports and oral presentations.
 * Successfully apply scientific principles,theoriesand concepts to specific job assignments/projects.
 * Work with QA Labs team moving sampling lines at various heights todifferent locationsthroughout the building for internal product testing, requiring the use of a ladder.
 * Participatein site continuous improvement activities across safety, quality, and efficiency.
 * Work with R&D team to document and evaluate the effectiveness of process parameters for media testing.
 * Maintain a safe laboratory environment through compliance with Entegris policies.
 * Participate in Safety Teams asrequired, perform 6S lab audits.
