## Description

Huntington Ingalls Shipbuilding is seeking an IT Software Engineer 2 to support the NNS Access Team. This position will focus on software development, testing, code review, and web-based application development using Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, C# and .NET.

The Software Engineer will participate throughout the software development life cycle and work with the team to develop, test, review, and maintain software applications.

Responsibilities

 * Design, develop, and test software applications and software components.
 * Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
 * Develop and maintain web-based applications using Java, JavaScript, HTML and related technologies.
 * Analyze software requirements and help establish operational specifications.
 * Test software and troubleshoot issues.
 * Conduct and participate in peer reviews of code.
 * Work collaboratively with other software engineers and technical team members.
 * Support additional software development activities as assigned.
 * May contribute to embedded systems software development.
