 * Knowledge of Berks County and the surrounding region is preferred.

## Description

The Berks Digital Web Producer will be responsible for creating, publishing, and managing digital content focused on Berks County while supporting the overall mission of 69 News across all digital platforms. This position plays a key role in delivering timely, accurate, and engaging local news to our audience., * Write, edit, and publish breaking news, weather, sports, and feature content for WFMZ.com and mobile platforms.

 * Monitor news sources, social media, scanners, and public information channels for developing stories.
 * Produce digital-first content including articles, photo galleries, videos, and live updates.
 * Optimize content for search engines (SEO), audience engagement, and social media distribution.
 * Collaborate with newsroom producers, reporters, photographers, and assignment editors to ensure comprehensive coverage of local news.
 * Manage and update story content as new information becomes available.
 * Assist with livestream coverage, push alerts, and special digital projects.
 * Maintain high journalistic standards for accuracy, fairness, and credibility.
