## About the Role

* 2-4 years of hands-on experience with T-SQL and Power BI.
 * Experience with DAX and dimensional modeling.
 * Strong SQL skills and experience building reliable reporting datasets.
 * Ability to troubleshoot data issues and validate reporting accuracy.
 * Strong attention to detail and commitment to trusted, consistent reporting.
 * Clear communication skills and the ability to partner with both technical and business teams.

Nice to Have

 * Experience with manufacturing, ERP, or operational data.
 * Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
 * Familiarity with Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric, Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, or Azure DevOps.
 * Experience supporting governed BI environments, certified datasets, or self-service reporting users.

## Description

* Build and maintain Azure SQL tables and views that support governed reporting.
 * Develop and optimize Power BI semantic models, including relationships, DAX measures, and refresh setup.
 * Move business logic into scalable SQL where appropriate.
 * Monitor scheduled refreshes and troubleshoot failures.
 * Validate reporting outputs against source data and resolve discrepancies.
 * Maintain clear documentation for key metrics, measures, data sources, and business definitions.
 * Support report certification, deployment reviews, and governance standards.
 * Assist business users with ad hoc analysis, self-service reporting, paginated reports, subscriptions, and Analyze in Excel.
 * Help prepare semantic models for AI-enabled reporting, including Copilot and Q&A.
