## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, 4+ years of equivalent professional software engineering experience in Lieu of Degree
 * 5+ years of professional software development experience designing, building, and deploying enterprise-grade applications
 * 3+ years of experience with one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, or TypeScript)
 * 2+ years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum engineering environment
 * 1+ years of experience building, integrating, and deploying AI-powered features, automated workflows, or machine learning services/APIs
 * 1+ years of experience with DevOps automation, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab)
 * 1+ years of experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices application architecture, * Advanced degree (Master's) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related technical field
 * Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs), natural language processing (NLP), or vector databases into software applications
 * Understanding of enterprise AI ethics, safety guidelines, and data governance practices
 * Experience with healthcare data systems, health benefits operations, or security/privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA)

Primary Responsibilities

 * Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable software applications and AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with an emphasis on responsible use of AI.

 * Evaluate emerging trends and technologies to inform solution design, architecture, and strategic innovation.

 * Write clean, maintainable, performant code and participate in code reviews, design reviews, and architectural discussions.

 * Mentor junior and mid-level software engineers, fostering technical growth and modern software development practices across the team
