Comfortable with REST APIs, webhooks, and the shape of business data; light SQL a plus. (You don't need to write the code - engineers just need to respect you.) * Comfortable running go/no-go decisions and saying "not yet" when it counts, and keeping process proportional to the problem. * Excellent written communication. Nice to have: background in procurement, spend management, AP automation, or fintech; experience working alongside or on top of large platform ecosystems (ERPs, marketplaces, SaaS suites) - SAP Ariba and Coupa especially. ## Description * Drive the company's major cross-functional initiatives end to end - taking our most important cross-team bets (new procurement-platform / ERP integrations beyond Ariba and Coupa, SOC 2 Type II, scaling enterprise onboarding and migrations, release-predictability programs) from fuzzy idea to delivered outcome. * Bring structure to ambiguity: define scope, owners, dependencies, risks, and a realistic plan - then keep it on track and visible to leadership. * Serve as the single source of truth for cross-team status, dependencies, and risk, surfacing problems early instead of at the deadline. * Own the monthly release train end to end: cadence, scope cut-off, go/no-go, regression sign-off coordination, release notes, and the post-release retro. * Run the go/no-go call with earned authority - keep half-baked work out of the train and protect the date. * Coordinate customer-facing release communications so CS / Delivery has what they need, by when, and it goes out (they own the messaging; you make sure it happens). * Build just enough durable process to make delivery repeatable - and retire process that isn't earning its keep. ## Related Videos - [Why make use of an integration platform in today's software developments and infrastructure?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/758-why-make-use-of-an-integration-platform-in-today-s-software-developments-and-infrastructure) - [Beyond Webhooks: The Future of Scalable API Event Delivery](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100312-beyond-webhooks-the-future-of-scalable-api-event-delivery) - [Rest API Antipatterns](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100208-rest-api-antipatterns) - [Replacing Excel with SAP APIs & Python validation](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1944-replacing-excel-with-sap-apis-python-validation) - [40 Minutes to Build a Serverless COVID-19 REST and GraphQL APIs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/208-40-minutes-to-build-a-serverless-covid-19-rest-and-graphql-apis) - [The Vonage Trivia Voyage: Quiz Your Way to the Top!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/761-the-vonage-trivia-voyage-quiz-your-way-to-the-top) ## Related Articles - [The Biggest German Tech Companies](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/424-the-biggest-german-tech-companies) - [Is Software Engineering Over-Saturated?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/418-is-software-engineering-over-saturated) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Résumé-Driven Development: How IT trends affect the job market for software developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/59-resume-driven-development-how-it-trends-affect-the-job-market-for-software-developers) - [Why Upskilling And Reskilling is Important For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/428-why-upskilling-and-reskilling-is-important-for-developers)
