Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree in electrical, software, computer engineering or equivalent. - Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations. - Experience with high speed interconnect, including PCIe. - Experience with developing qualification and manufacturing acceptance test plans, test procedures, and test environments. - Experience in systems design, operations, automation, and process improvement. ## Description AWS Hardware Engineering is looking for a customer-obsessed, team-driven technology leader to take our engineering of server hardware and software to the next level. As a System Development Engineer on the PCIe and Signal Integrity team within the Core Components Organization, you will work on next-generation high-speed designs for server components and systems. You will be responsible for the success of PCIe topology for EC2 servers, including retimer and switch firmware. You will work with an interdisciplinary team of engineers to design, develop, validate, launch, monitor and troubleshoot high throughput interfaces at scale. You will design and build environments to track fleet performance, qualify firmware, validate system designs and support debugging, and improve telemetry.
