## About the Role

Required:

 * An active TS/SCI
 * CCNA
 * Active IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE) or above
 * Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering discipline from an accredited college or university
 * 5 years' experience of network engineering (DOD related experience preferred) including network design and configuration
 * Assist with the handling, configuration, and maintenance of cryptographic devices (e.g., KG series) and secure communications equipment
 * Hands-on experience configuring Cisco switches and routers
 * Hands-on experience configuring Palo Alto firewalls
 * Hands-on experience creating firewall rule sets from analysis of network traffic
 * Hands-on experience with component validation of security devices
 * Hands-on experience integrating boundary solutions into customer networks

Desired:

 * Experience with Forescout with C2C requirements
 * Experience with DoD IT security requirements
 * Cisco ASA (Firepower)
 * VPN Tunnels - AnyConnect, strongSwan
 * CSFC - Commercial Solutions for Classified
 * Experience with Linux operating systems

## Description

* The candidate will analyze designs, specifications, and related documents
 * Design, integrate, and deploy end-to-end network solutions, including procurement, installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of network and communications equipment.
 * Research solutions to challenging cyber security and computer networking problems
 * Communicate understanding of network architecture and design
 * Generate reports and presentations suitable for documenting and communicating results to peers and team members
 * Establish, implement, and enforce system and data security controls, including firewall configurations and disaster recovery capabilities
 * Define and maintain standards, protocols, and best practices for network operations, maintenance, and lifecycle management
 * Monitor network performance and reliability, proactively resolving issues
 * Designs solutions, integrates, configures, deploys, tests and provides support for numerous types of network devices, interfaces and methodologies
 * Works with Systems Engineers and cross-organizational teams to define requirements
 * Contributes to security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management (application of STIGs)
