## About the Role

* Experience working in hardware design, prototyping, 3D modeling and computer-aided drafting ( CAD ) in an internship, school projects, or in a professional work environment
 * Knowledge of basic engineering and physics principles as they apply to hardware design and product develop ment
 * Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and approaches, including additive and subtractive manufacturing techniques
 * Ability to develop technical documentation, including 2D technical drawings and written technical documentation
 * Ability to collaborate with an integrated product team, including a variety of technical and non-technical teammates
 * Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
 * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Nice If You Have:

 * Experience with prototyping and integration related to electromechanical or military systems
 * Experience with finite element analysis ( FEA ) or modeling and simulation activities
 * Experience with other engineering sof tware, including MATLAB, Mathcad, or multiphysics sof tware
 * Experience with lab-based develop mental testing and test data acquisition
 * Knowledge of product design for manufacturability, reliability, maintainability, injection molding, ruggedization, and extreme environments
 * Secret clearance
 * Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
