Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Fluids Systems Technician (Starship) - **Company:** Space Exploration Technologies Corp. - **Location:** Brownsville, TX, United States - **Experience:** Experienced - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint - **Published:** June 2, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=aec4c285ab5e97c5 ## About the Role Do you have experience in Hand tools?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High school diploma or equivalency certificate * 3+ years of experience using mechanical and/or electronics hand tools * 3+ years of experience with pipe fitting and fabrication PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: * Experience working at a rocket launch facility and supporting launch campaigns * Experience maintaining and troubleshooting complex fluid and mechanical systems * Experience maintaining a propulsion test stand in the aerospace industry * Experience with orbital or structural welding * Machining and metal fabrication experience * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) * Experience with mechanical repairs and troubleshooting * Experience with pneumatic/hydraulic system fabrication * Familiarity with calibrated measuring instruments * Experience using heavy equipment, including but not limited to, overhead cranes, forklifts and manlifts * Ability to read, understand and follow detailed schematics, drawings, and instructions ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: * Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs unassisted * Must be willing to travel up to 25%. Position is based in Brownsville, TX, however work at other SpaceX facilities for extended periods for similar work may be required * Must be able to climb ladders and work in confined spaces * Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed ITAR REQUIREMENTS: * To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. Learn more about the ITAR here. ## Description The Production Fluids Systems technician is responsible for building, installing, and troubleshooting fluid systems in support of the Starship production facility.
