## About the Role

 * Deep expertise in React and Next.js, with a strong understanding of SSR/SPA architecture.
 * Proven ability to lead projects end-to-end, from design through to launch and iteration.
 * Experience optimizing frontend performance, including improving Core Web Vitals and load times.
 * Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred

 * Experience with high-traffic consumer or marketplace products.
 * Background in leading frontend rewrites or significant migrations.
 * Familiarity with modern testing frameworks and observability tools.

## Description

* Own major initiatives across high-traffic surfaces, starting with Search Results and Details, focusing on Core Web Vitals, SEO, and conversion metrics.
 * Lead technical design for large changes, driving alignment with Product and Design teams, while making pragmatic trade-offs.
 * Define and implement reusable patterns within a Next.js App Router codebase, including routing, data fetching, and component architecture.
 * Raise the quality bar through code reviews and mentorship, helping junior engineers level up quickly.
 * Improve developer velocity by shaping tooling and practices, including testing strategies and observability metrics.
