The employee sits at a desk and uses a computer for prolonged periods of time. Performing the role frequently uses close vision, speech, hearing, and dexterity to operate office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. ## Description IT System Administrators are responsible for the implementation and technical support of Enterprise's server infrastructure. This includes but is not limited to the support of Windows Server OS, Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare ESX, Office 365, Azure and storage systems. IT Systems Administrators will use tools such as vCenter, SolarWinds, Active Directory administration tools, and PowerShell to manage the environments. IT Systems Administrator Level I is an entry level position., * Responsible for the day-to-day support of server operating systems and related software and hardware. * Troubleshoots application and operating system problems. * Document system configurations, and operational procedures to ensure standardized operating procedures and processes. * Provides Level 2 support to the IT Service Desk team. * Responsible for administration and support of on-premises Exchange as well as Exchange Online tenant including configuring mailbox access. * Work with other IT team members to address resolve/acknowledge alerts generated by monitoring tools such as SolarWinds. * Installs, configures, and decommissions servers following Server Lifecycle Provisioning processes.
