## About the Role

* Comprehensive understanding of network services and networks such as TCP/IP, OSPF and EIGRP.
 * In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of networking systems such as LAN, firewalls, routers, and printers.
 * Ability to analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently.
 * Ability to design, implement and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi and security systems infrastructure.
 * Ability to manage several projects simultaneously from design to implementation.
 * Ability to communicate technical information to other technical team members but also to coworkers in other departments who may not have knowledge of networking technical terminology., * Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Operations preferred; or equivalent from college or technical school
 * Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

 * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Computer Operations:

## Description

* Provide support for enhancements by maximizing functionality of Network equipment such as routers, switches, and access points.
 * Interface with vendors and suppliers to ensure adequate delivery and maintenance of equipment and services.
 * Creation of processes and procedures for network operations.
 * Ensure Network department support tickets are resolved within acceptable timeframes.
 * Architect, install, maintain, and troubleshoot Local Area Networks, Wireless Networks, Wide Area Networks and data/voice communications equipment.
 * Support installation and maintenance of Network hardware and software.
 * Install and troubleshoot IP based LAN/WAN/WLAN and IP-based routing and bridging solutions.
 * Assist with routine and emergency maintenance of all data center equipment.
 * Manage network performance monitoring and analysis.
 * Architect new solutions in-line with industry best practices.
 * Identify and correct faults and provide resolution to incident and request tickets escalated from the Support Desk.
 * Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems.
