## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
 * Experience in manufacturing, applications engineering, or design engineering.
 * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and CAD models.
 * Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
 * Understanding of metal fabrication and manufacturing processes preferred.
 * Experience working with an ERP system.
 * Strong Excel skills and comfort working with technical data.
 * Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
 * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

 * Review customer requirements and develop practical, manufacturable product solutions.
 * Prepare detailed cost estimates and accurate quotes for custom products.
 * Support quoting, estimating, and concept-costing activities.
 * Interpret and analyze blueprints, CAD models, technical drawings, and specifications.
 * Work closely with engineering, production, and estimating teams to ensure product manufacturability.
 * Utilize ERP systems to support quoting and estimating processes.
 * Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept through production.
 * Communicate directly with customers to clarify requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
 * Present technical concepts and product solutions to customers and internal stakeholders.
 * Serve as the technical bridge between customers and internal engineering, production, and estimating teams.
 * Help ensure customer requirements are accurately translated into effective, manufacturable designs.
