 * Good knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and engineering drawing standards., * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
 * 7+ Years experience in mechanical product/component design and development.

## Description

* Design and develop mechanical components, parts, and assemblies using SolidWorks.
 * Create detailed 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and engineering documentation.
 * Design components for manufacturability, assembly, serviceability, and cost optimization.
 * Review and modify existing designs to improve performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
 * Manage engineering changes and maintain accurate product design data and documentation.
 * Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards, company procedures, and customer requirements.
 * Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members
 * Conduct pre-Design reviews with teams
 * Coach team members on SolidWorks best practices
 * Provide design check and work execution validation
 * Collaborate with manufacturing, tooling, quality, materials, and analysis teams throughout the product development process.
 * Participate in design reviews and resolve technicalissues related to mechanical components.
 * Perform tolerance stack-ups, fit and clearance analysis, and basic design calculations.
 * Run complex thermal and vibration analyses (Solidworksor Ansys)
 * Maintain weekly progress reporting (Project Management and project timesheet)
 * Perform other assignments as required
