## About the Role

Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are vital as you influence project direction, mentor team members, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. **Responsibilities:** + Exhibit expert-level skills in requirements engineering, systems integration, V&V, and MBSE. + Advance and manage a large FAA Part 25 aircraft digital system model in Cameo (No Magic) in alignment with: program guidance and goals, industry standards, other program digital models, and various sources of design definition and data. + Leverage deep knowledge in architecture/design development, technical monitoring, and lifecycle management. + Provide strong leadership and effective communication across different engineering disciplines and different work locations + Mentor and guide team members. **Qualifications You Must Have:** + Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. + 10+ years of experience in systems engineering
or related field. + Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience. + Fundamental understanding of FAA Part 25 aircraft systems + Expert proficiency with Systems modeling and simulation tools. + Proven leadership experience in systems engineering. + Demonstrated knowledge of multiple Engineering principles and practices, system design and system integration + Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams. + Intermediate understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, allocation; V&V principles; technical risk identification and management strategies. **Qualifications We Prefer:** + Advanced Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools, such as DOORS, Cameo, MATLAB. + Knowledge of industry standard mechanical design principles, to include, but not limited to, requirements management, MBSE. + Experience or certification in International Council on Systems
Engineering (INCOSE) standards [Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)]. + Experience with Boeing 747-8 or other large commercial, widebody, or FAA Part 25 commercial-derived military aircraft. + Experience leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting. + Familiar with aircraft ground and flight testing. + Experience in creating project-specific digital system model guidance + Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. + Agile Methodologies and Tools such as JIRA. **Essential Functions:** + Ability to work on a computer for extended periods. + Hand/finger dexterity for system modeling and documentation. + Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional travel.
