## About the Role

* 3+ years of solid experience as a Software Engineer with experience across multiple frontend and backend languages, including Python, JavaScript, Go, Java, and Bash scripting.
 * Experience leading software engineers to design and develop web-based software solutions and automation.
 * Hands-on expertise with Django, Flask, and FastAPI, including multiprocessing, multithreading, and event-driven application development.
 * Experience with network-defined automation and/or cloud IT solutions, including CLI and API development, and integration with network and security products (e.g., Check Point & Fortinet firewalls, McAfee proxies, TippingPoint IDS).
 * Deep understanding of data structures and object-oriented programming, plus experience with relational databases such as SQLite and MySQL (data modeling and query optimization), and strong unit testing practices.

## Description

Our client, a regulated financial services organization is seeking a Network Automation Software Engineer to join their team. As a Network Automation Software Engineer, you will be part of the engineering organization supporting automation and integration initiatives across network, security, and cloud domains. The ideal candidate will have strong Python development, experience building network automation agents, and a proven track record delivering reliable, compliant software in a regulated environment which will align successfully in the organization., * Build Python-based agents that interact with F5 (iControl REST), AVI/NSX ALB APIs, and NSX or cloud provider SDKs.

 * Design and implement closed-loop automation workflows that detect, analyze, remediate, and validate outcomes.
 * Replace static runbooks with dynamic, adaptive AI-driven automation workflows and orchestrate multi-step actions across network, security, and cloud systems.
 * Develop solutions that operate consistently across on-prem (VMware VCF/NSX) and public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle), handling provider-specific APIs versus abstracted control layers., * Opportunity to build adaptive automation that replaces manual, static processes with dynamic workflows.
 * Work on complex integrations spanning network, security, and cloud domains with hybrid decision logic across edge, cloud, and data center actions.
 * Contribute to reliable delivery through CI/CD practices and automated software testing.
 * Develop solutions with a strong focus on functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements in a regulated banking environment.
 * Collaborate in an outsourced development environment with strong written and verbal communication to align technical delivery with business objectives.
