## About the Role

* Around 3-4+ years of professional JavaScript development experience
 * Strong experience with React
 * Solid experience building back-end services with Node.js
 * Understanding of web application security, including authentication, authorisation, data protection and OWASP principles
 * Experience using Git or another version control system
 * Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
 * Good communication and teamwork skills
 * Self-motivated, resourceful approach and ability to work independently
 * Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure is useful but not essential
 * Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes is useful but not essential
 * Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or DevOps practices is useful but not essential
 * Knowledge of TypeScript is useful but not essential

* Build responsive front-end applications using React
 * Develop server-side applications and RESTful APIs with Node.js
 * Write clear, efficient and well-documented JavaScript
 * Apply secure development practices to protect applications and user data
 * Identify and help resolve security vulnerabilities
 * Work with designers, product managers and other developers to deliver features
 * Take part in code reviews and share constructive feedback
 * Troubleshoot issues across the stack
 * Contribute to technical decisions and improve development processes
