## About the Role

Minimum of a Bachelor Degree (BEng, BSc) in a Numerate, Scientific or Engineering subject or Higher Education/equivalent training and experience.
Proven working experience in requirements management using tools such as DOORS or Polarion.
Proven experience working in and/or leading a team undergoing Integration, Verification, Validation and Qualification (IVVQ) of a solution/product
Detailed working knowledge of the engineering lifecycle, from concept design, requirements capture and management, system and subsystem design, system integration, through to test strategies, acceptance and design update.

Desirable experience
Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods and tools.
Proven working experience of requirements management in Polarion.
Architecture Frameworks (MODAF, DODAF, TOGAF etc.)
Product line Engineering
Electronic Warfare, Radar or telecommunications domain.

## Description

ISR is a highly complex product development environment, focusing on delivering cutting edge products in the UAS and EW Fields. We are recruiting for a Senior Systems Engineer with opportunity to work across multiple complex programmes. Performing subsets of all the engineering activities required to develop a solution/product whilst achieving customer satisfaction.
We're looking for an experienced Systems Engineer with experience working in safety critical engineering developments and a strong understanding of the development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
Demonstration that the solution satisfies the overall approved operational needs set out by the customer.
Formalisation and management of requirements through DOORS.
Assembly of the solution elements in a logical and controlled manner to evaluate design, behaviour, interactions and performance to confirm that the design meets requirements.
Formalisation of the specifications and the engineering plans used to develop the solution.
Support and undertake IVVQ activities.
Trade-off analysis, modelling and simulation.
SE and IVVQ related documentation.
Work alongside a Systems Engineering team, or Systems Architect, or Project Design Authority to design and formalise the solution.
