It allows business users to create the communications for connected customer journeys using the delivery formats and channels customers prefer. We are looking for a Senior Software Developer specializing in Build Engineering and DevOps to own and modernize the build infrastructure for a large, mature C++ product. This developer will be responsible for evolving a complex, multi-platform build environment spanning Windows, Linux, IBM AIX, and IBM z/OS (MVS). The role combines hands-on software development with build-system architecture, CI/CD automation, developer productivity and supply-chain engineering. A major focus of the position will be simplifying legacy build infrastructure and moving toward modern, repeatable, maintainable build practices while preserving the ability to build and deliver software across both distributed and mainframe platforms. This developer will own the build system as an engineering product. You are great at: * Modernize the build system across Windows, Linux, AIX, and z/OS, reducing legacy complexity and moving toward modern tooling such as CMake, Make, and MSBuild. * Own and improve CI/CD pipelines, automating compilation, testing, packaging, artifact creation, and release processes while improving build reliability and performance. * Improve developer productivity by making builds reproducible and easier to understand, troubleshoot, and run locally or in CI environments. * Modernize build infrastructure through containerization and automated, reproducible environments where supported, while effectively supporting specialized AIX and z/OS environments. * Integrate software supply-chain practices including dependency management, SBOM generation, vulnerability scanning, and artifact traceability.
