## About the Role

Technical/Engineering Design, Technical/Engineering Design, Home Automation, Retrofit, Control Engineering, AutoCAD, Microsoft Visio, Control Systems, Graphical User Interface (GUI), Program Control, * Experience working as a BAS Design Engineer or in a similar controls engineering role

 * Proficient with AutoCAD or MS Visio for control system layouts and design
 * Hands-on experience developing and modifying Tridium graphical user interfaces
 * Capable of creating and interpreting detailed Sequences of Operations (SOO)
 * Understanding of controls programming fundamentals and BAS troubleshooting
 * Strong documentation, communication, and technical writing skills
 * Comfortable conducting job walks and coordinating with contractors, engineers, and internal teams
 * Knowledge of building automation and energy management systems
 * Experience with ALC (Automated Logic) is a plus

## Description

Controls Design Engineer - Kansas City, MO - $25-$40/hr.+ 100% Paid Medical + 401k, * Design, draft, and manage BAS control system architecture from initial concept to project completion

 * Prepare detailed design packages, submittals, and documentation for installations
 * Develop graphical interfaces and assist with configuration of control software
 * Ensure design deliverables meet project timelines and technical standards
 * Conduct on-site assessments and collaborate with engineering and installation teams
