The implementation function is what gets every site - ours and our customers' - from signed contract or ground-break to running smoothly. You're joining a function that's already in motion: real hardware in the field, live client commitments, and a skilled team of field technicians and engineers in execution. What we're adding is a Manager who runs the playbook and supports scaling the function for what comes next. We're seeking an Implementation Manager to own site deployments end-to-end. You'll bring deep expertise in install project management (scheduling and coordinating the installer and technician workforce) and install quality control (identifying the wrong conduit, the unsecured cable run, or the mount that won't hold before the customer does). In your first 90 days, you'll deliver against in-flight commitments, take stock of open work, and refine the operating model. From there, you'll help scale the playbook and build implementation into a function customers see as a differentiator. What You'll Own: Site Deployment & Project Execution * Support the Implementation Team in delivering customer deployments from contract through go-live. * Coordinate project schedules, hardware deliveries, subcontractors, and customer communications to keep implementations on track. * Track milestones, identify risks early, and help drive issues to resolution across internal teams and external partners. * Travel to customer sites as needed to support deployments, installations, commissioning, and go-live activities. Travel is generally expected to average approximately 30%, but may vary based on project volume, customer needs, and business priorities. Installation Coordination & Quality * Assist with scheduling installers and field technicians across active deployments. * Monitor installation progress and verify work meets Outpost's quality standards and site specifications. * Conduct installation quality checks and escalate issues before they impact customer timelines or experience. Cross-Functional Coordination * Partner with Procurement, Operations, IT, and Engineering to ensure hardware, network readiness, and field resources are aligned for successful deployments. * Help coordinate vendor activities and maintain visibility into project status across multiple sites. * Support customer-facing implementation communications throughout the deployment process. Documentation & Process * Maintain implementation documentation, including commissioning checklists, site records, hardware configurations, and deployment plans. * Contribute to improving installation playbooks, SOPs, and project templates as the implementation function scales. * Capture lessons learned and recommend process improvements to increase deployment efficiency and consistency. Team Support * Partner closely with the Implementation Team to execute deployment priorities across a growing portfolio of customer sites. * Take ownership of day-to-day project execution while escalating strategic decisions and complex issues as needed. * Help build repeatable processes that enable Outpost to scale implementations efficiently as the business grows.
