## About the Role

3-5 years experience with: installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches.
-Intermediate level understanding/experience with Enterprise network architectures and configurations is highly desired.
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Secret clearance
-IAT-II certification
-CCNA certification

## Description

Insight Global is looking for Network Administrators for a government contract. These individuals will be working on a military base doing all network and system support for all of the Air Force.

The day to day is as follows:
-Analyzes and simulates network traffic to aide in problem resolution or to test updated configurations in virtual or physical lab environments.
-Monitors system utilization and circuit bandwidth then reports anomalies to Government team leads.
-Escalate complex network issues to Senior Network Administrators.
-Develop, execute, modify or remove scripts to assist in automation of tasks, as possible.
-Review and document all workload activities per incident or change request to eliminate re-work or for auditing/investigation purposes.
-Neatly bundle and conceal all excess system or peripheral cabling after each installation or repair.
-Notify appropriate Information Technical Equipment Custodian (ITEC) or Property Custodian (PC), in writing, within 4 hours for all accountable item moves
