## Description

Keep the Army's top-secret intelligence network secure, current and running. QBE is looking for an IT System Administrator to run day-to-day administration, maintenance and security of the JWICS environment for U.S. Army G2's Intelligence Division (AMIS-IN), Security Division (AMIS-SE) and Special Projects Office (AMIS-SEP). You'll keep systems patched and hardened, support the users who depend on them, and help defend the network when alerts fire.

What you will do

 * System & Network Administration: Run daily administration on Windows and Linux servers, including user accounts, patching and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and manage and troubleshoot switches, routers and firewalls.
 * Tier 1/2 User Support: Be the hands-on help users count on, from VTC setup and troubleshooting to account resets and software support, and escalate complex issues to senior specialists or vendors when needed.
 * Security Operations: Monitor security logs, respond to alerts, and help with incident response and remediation; make sure systems are backed up and disaster recovery plans are tested.
 * Technical Support: Take on technical work across all performance areas as the Team Lead assigns, and keep pace with new technologies and requirements.
