* A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

## Description

Join a technology team supporting complex, business-critical systems within the financial services industry. In this role, you'll investigate application issues, work across engineering and business functions, and help keep essential technology running smoothly.

You'll get hands-on experience with a cloud-based platform supporting quantitative investment workflows, with opportunities to deepen your technical expertise and grow toward systems engineering and reliability.

Where You'll Make an Impact

 * Take ownership of technical incidents, from initial investigation through resolution, using application logs, SQL, stack traces, and debugging tools.
 * Trace problems across applications, databases, APIs, and upstream data sources to pinpoint failures and determine their root causes.
 * Work directly with developers, QA, and business partners to reproduce issues, coordinate fixes, and keep stakeholders informed.
 * Investigate performance degradation, service interruptions, and data discrepancies while developing a strong understanding of the systems involved.
 * Help maintain reliable production operations through scheduled support coverage, including occasional after-hours responsibilities.
 * Create and improve technical runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and internal documentation to make future investigations faster and more consistent.
 * Identify recurring issues and collaborate with engineering teams on longer-term fixes, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
 * Participate in projects focused on improving the stability, maintainability, and efficiency of the technology environment.
