## About the Role

* Associate's degree and 10+ years of Configuration Management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 * Strong understanding of Configuration Management principles, processes, and tools.
 * Experience reviewing and interpreting BOMs, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
 * Experience supporting engineering and manufacturing teams in a regulated environment.
 * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
 * Strong organizational, communication, and document control skills.
 * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently., * Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
 * Experience using Windchill, JIRA, SharePoint, Confluence, and/or ERP systems.
 * Configuration Management certifications preferred.
 * Knowledge of SAE EIA-649 Configuration Management standards.
 * Experience within defense, aerospace, military, electronics manufacturing, or logistics environments.
 * Bachelor's degree preferred.

## Description

* Manage product revision control and maintain configuration baselines throughout the product lifecycle.
 * Review, track, and process engineering change requests and proposals.
 * Analyze technical data packages, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
 * Maintain documentation traceability across engineering and manufacturing organizations.
 * Support configuration and data management activities in accordance with contractual, regulatory, and internal requirements.
 * Lead change management efforts from development through production and sustainment.
 * Communicate configuration impacts and changes to cross-functional stakeholders.
 * Create and maintain detailed documentation, records, and reports.
 * Support continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior team members.
