The Processor-in-the-Loop (PiL) platform is a core part of that stack: real processors and PCBAs running against simulated I/O so firmware and software can be validated at scale. As Technical Program Manager for this organization, you own the PCBA lifecycle that keeps PiL and related test platforms supplied, current, and buildable. This role is positioned between electrical engineering, software, purchasing, suppliers, and distribution. You'll manage the boards, variants, and procurement workflows that make validation infrastructure real. As a secondary program line, you may also support our other test infrastructure form factor that make up our Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) product line. This is an EE-centered TPM role supporting the Processor-in-the-Loop Program. You should be fluent in how a PCBA is designed, released, fabricated, assembled, inspected, kitted, and revised - and able to drive that process across many concurrent board variants without losing configuration control. What You'll Do * Own the PCBA procurement process for Validation Platforms, with primary focus on Processor-in-the-Loop hardware: demand, BOM readiness, fab/assembly, POs, incoming delivery, and allocation to builds * Partner with EE through design, prototype, and spin cycles on DFM/DFT, AVL, lead-time risk, and manufacturability so board revisions land on time and are buildable * Work with engineers to translate platform and test needs into board, revision, and configuration demand - which SKUs, which spins, which firmware-compatible hardware, and by when * Own variant tracking across PiL and related test PCBAs: part numbers, revisions, BOMs, ECOs, configuration matrices, serial/lot traceability, and where each variant is deployed * Drive execution with the team's purchaser, CMs, fabricators, suppliers, and distribution. Clear shortages, long-lead parts, and delivery slips before they idle labs * Maintain integrated schedules from schematic/layout freeze through fab, SMT, bring-up, and kitting against PiL milestones. Identify critical path, surface risk early, and escalate with a recovery plan * Track inventory and WIP to avoid overbuilding obsolete spins * Run reviews and status with EE, SWE, purchasing, and leadership. Keep a single source of truth and tighten the PCBA workflow so hardware can iterate as fast as software
