## About the Role

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, * Bachelor's degree in a related STEM discipline such as Engineering, Physics, or Math and eight (8) years or more of documented work and/or academic experience in algorithm development

 * Experience in any of the following areas: Signal Processing Algorithms or Models, Image Processing Algorithms or Models, Detection Theory or Machine Learning
 * UNIX/Linux and demonstrated computer programming skills in C or C++ and using MATLAB or Python for data analysis
 * The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

 * Top Secret Security Clearance
 * Experience developing signal processing algorithms for airborne surveillance applications, signal & image processing, digital communications, detection and estimation theory, or AI/ML and training techniques
 * Mathematical modeling and problem-solving abilities
 * Algorithm development and/or signal processing
 * Real-time Programming, software change management tools, and processes
 * Experience working within multi-disciplinary engineering teams and providing subject-matter guidance and documented technical mentorship to junior engineers in an algorithm engineering environment

## Description

The Algorithm Principal Systems Engineer will work on site alongside other systems engineers, provide technical direction to a small team of algorithm analysts, and support both the chief engineer and the lead systems engineer. This is an Onsite role located in Plano, Texas
