## About the Role

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, * Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience.

 * Experience with embedded real-time software development, including:

 * Developing, testing, and integrating real-time software applications written in C++ or closely related software languages.
 * Development on Linux, VxWorks, or other Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
 * Integrating hardware, firmware, and software in complex systems
 * Active and transferable Top Secret with SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Special Program Access after start., * Experience working in lab environments with physical hardware, such as test benches or simulators.
 * Familiarity with navigating and understanding complex systems and established codebases.
 * Experience with Agile software development processes, including Scrum techniques.
 * Knowledge of DevSecOps pipeline implementation and use, including Static Code Analysis, Automated Build, and Automated Test techniques.
 * Hands-on experience with Git for version control and GitLab or Artifactory for repository management.

## Description

Join our team as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer and contribute to the development and integration of cutting-edge embedded real-time systems. You will play a key role in ensuring the success of complex projects by collaborating with cross-discipline teams and delivering high-quality software solutions.

What You Will Do

 * Architect, design, implement, test, and debug integrated embedded real-time software within heterogeneous systems composed of firmware and hardware.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, refine, and improve product concepts, implementation, testability, and quality.
 * Develop, test, and integrate real-time software applications written in C++ or closely related programming languages.
 * Work with Linux, VxWorks, or other Real-Time Operating Systems to develop and maintain software solutions.
 * Integrate hardware, firmware, and software into complex systems.
 * Mentor and coach less experienced engineers to foster professional growth.
 * Contribute to technical proposals and participate in design reviews.
 * Occasionally travel for business-related purposes, up to 10%.
 * This job is onsite in Plano, TX; local residency or relocation required., + Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
