## About the Role

* 5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications
 * 5+ years of experience with software development using basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
 * Experience switching between different program languages and learning new ones
 * Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products
 * Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
 * Experience performing code reviews and debugging merge requests
 * Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
 * TS/SCI clearance
 * Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree
 * Ability to obtain DoD 8570 Compliant Security+ or CISSP Certification within 30 days of hire

Nice If You Have:

 * Experience with Java, Databricks, C#, C, C++, JavaScript, SQL, Python, Server-Side Development, Middleware, Application or Data Integration, API Development, Core Application Systems, Node.js, Quarkus, Spring Cloud, Spring Core, Spring-Boot, or Spring Data
 * Experience creating solutions for large data sets and managing data stores
 * Experience with structured and unstructured data types, especially non-textual sources such as video, audio, and imagery.
 * Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
 * Experience with administration of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, Gitlab, or GitHub actions
 * Knowledge of standards in JavaScript, JSON, REST, CORS, Web architecture, and HTTP specification
