Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Software Developer 2 - Java/Spring Developer opportunity in Los Alamos, NM, to support the Los Alamos National Laboratory., The Software Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain secure, high-quality software applications in a fast-paced, Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and the Spring Framework, along with experience working with Angular and MySQL., · Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure software applications using Java and the Spring Framework.

· Develop and maintain modern web application interfaces using Angular.

· Design, query, and optimize MySQL databases and related data structures.

· Apply test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing practices to deliver reliable, maintainable software.

· Participate in an Agile software development environment, including sprint planning, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement activities.

· Manage development activities across multiple applications and projects while meeting established priorities and deadlines.

· Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders on solution design.

· Contribute to application architecture and process improvements.

· Work independently and provide technical guidance as needed.

· Independently analyze and resolve complex technical issues, determine solution approaches, and provide technical guidance as needed.

· Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, database, and performance issues.
