## About the Role

Must be able to obtain "special access programs" (SAP/SAR) for continuation of employment. Qualifications you must have: * A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in embedded software development

 * Development experience coding in C, C++, ADA or related languages/tools across phases of Software Development Life Cycle
 * Experience working on UNIX, Linux, Windows, VxWorks, Green Hills or other Real Time Operating Systems.
 * Clearance: Must be able to obtain DoD Secret Clearance; US Citizenship is mandatory to acquire and maintain Security clearances.
 * The ability to obtain and maintain an ***interim Secret U.S. security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer: * Current DoD Secret and Top Secret Clearance
 * Proven ability to obtain a Special Access Clearance (SAP)
 * Experience developing Radar Software applications
 * Experience working in an agile/scrum team hyper-collaborative team environment using typical agile oriented tool suite.
 * Proven analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot tool and system operation performance issues.
 * Experience with large complex systems such as airborne radars. Sensors: Space and Air division in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Software Engineer II [Embedded / Radar] to be part of their product development team for the Gen4 Tactical Airborne Radar group. What you will do: * Work on technical problems and provide innovative solutions, with minimal guidance.

 * Contribute at all phases of the SW development lifecycle, including SW/HW integration
 * Develop RT embedded SW, specifically pertaining to various radar modes and capabilities.
 * Utilize investigation and troubleshooting skills to assess issues and develop solutions.
 * Work with teams across multiple disciplines, internal and external
 * Participate in program and customer meetings/reviews
 * Support the team leads as needed regarding technical decision making, problem resolution.
 * Help to ensure performance to technical, cost, schedule, quality.
