## About the Role

Java, Software Engineering, Healthcare, Microservices, Application Programming Interface (API), Healthcare Software, Relational Databases (RDBMS), Medical Billing, Billing, Java, Seeking a Senior Java Backend / Microservices Engineer with strong hands-on development experience in Healthcare Payer Enrollment and Billing applications. The role will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise healthcare applications using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, APIs, messaging, and relational databases.

Mandatory Technical & Domain Skills

8+ years of hands-on Java/J2EE development experience, with strong expertise in Java 8/11+, Spring Boot, Spring Framework and Microservices.
Mandatory hands-on development experience in Healthcare Payer Enrollment and Billing applications/processes.
Strong experience developing RESTful APIs, backend services and enterprise integrations.
Experience with Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, SQL and relational databases, preferably DB2/PostgreSQL.
Hands-on experience with Kafka or enterprise messaging technologies.
Experience with CI/CD, Git, Jenkins/Azure DevOps, Maven/Gradle and automated testing using JUnit/Mockito.
Good understanding of application security including OAuth2, JWT and Spring Security.
