## About the Role

* Minimum of 3 years experience supporting production front office trading applications.
 * Minimum of 1 years experience supporting FIX flows to exchanges or client side fix.
 * Strong technical skills in scripting, Python or other programming languages
 * Understanding of trading lifecycle, including order capture & execution, allocation workflow, settlement, and compliance requirements
 * Familiarity with algorithmic trading technology and workflow.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and propose innovative solutions., * Solid track record in application deployment best practices
 * 3 years+ solid relevant FIX Engineering experience
 * Experience with exchange and vendor certification
 * Knowledge of Third Party Networks and EMS/OMS software vendors. (eg, TT, NYFIX, Bloomberg, TradingScreen)
 * Experience in messaging systems and networking issues including tcp and multicast.
 * Operational experience in supporting market data distribution platforms such as, Real Time Distribution Systems (RTDS) knowledge for DACS, ADH & ADS components
 * Knowledge of Multicast data traffic management, arbitration and message queueing
 * Operational experience in supporting time series frameworks such as kdb, shakti
 * Understanding of Commodity Trading & Capital Markets
 * Knowledge of Realtime Market Data distribution platforms, individual Feedhandlers and Enterprise level Real Time consolidated feeds]
 * Experience of Algo regulation, audit and compliance & RTS6) is highly desirable

## Description

As Production Support Engineer, you will be a hands-on Engineer and be a member of a small high performing, team responsible for global derviatives trading production environments. Your work will be driven both by trading teams, product teams but also engineering teams. Work includes -

 * Trouble shooting and identifying the root cause of key issues in the trading environment.
 * Rapid incident response to maintain continuous trading operations, turning quick fixes into robust, scalable solutions
 * Proactive system monitoring and troubleshooting, owning reliability improvements and ensuring their successful delivery
 * Ensure proactive management of critical endto-end workflows, continuously improving stability and resilience through close collarabituon with delivery and infrastructure teams
 * Serve as an subject matter expert for trading systems initiatives.
 * Being part of the on-call rota occasionally covering US hours.
