## About the Role

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Cyber Security Analyst. We need someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership and bring confidence and credibility to the role. Someone calm, assured and who can lead when needed but is happy to get into the technical detail:-, * Strong hands-on cyber security engineering experience.

 * Experience working with or alongside a SOC/MDR provider.
 * Knowledge of endpoint, cloud, identity and incident response security.
 * A strong understanding of modern attack techniques and defensive controls.
 * Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
 * The ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
 * Strong ownership, leadership and decision-making skills.

Most importantly, we need someone who:

 * Stays calm and decisive under pressure.
 * Has the confidence to take control of live incidents.
 * Can influence, challenge and provide clear technical direction.
 * Is a genuine team player who takes accountability and gets things done.

 * Security platform and tooling management/configuration.
 * Remediation and threat mitigation.
 * Advising and directing Platform Operations on security actions.
 * Documentation, governance and continuous improvement.
