## About the Role

* 5+ years of experience in Software Testing, Test Automation, and Quality Engineering
 * Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile testing methodologies, and QA best practices
 * Hands-on experience with Playwright
 * Strong experience with JavaScript / TypeScript
 * Functional, regression, smoke, integration, system, and E2E automation
 * Experience migrating Selenium-based automation scripts to Playwright
 * API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent tools
 * Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks from the ground up
 * Automation framework design, test strategy, and test execution
 * Basic to intermediate SQL for database validation and backend testing
 * CI/CD integration using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI
 * Defect tracking and test management using Jira, ALM, or Azure DevOps
 * Strong experience with Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure Repos
 * Unix/Linux environments and batch processing systems
 * Analysis of job execution logs, automation logs, failures, and data load issues
 * Automated data validation and reconciliation frameworks
 * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
 * Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Experience:

 * Experience designing scalable and maintainable Playwright automation frameworks
 * Experience with Selenium-to-Playwright migration projects
 * Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
 * Experience with API and integration testing across multiple systems
 * Experience supporting production deployments and post-release validation
 * Experience with UAT, system, smoke, regression, and end-to-end testing
 * Experience creating test execution reports, quality metrics, and stakeholder status updates
 * Experience working closely with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams
 * Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
 * Experience continuously improving QA processes and automation best practices

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
