## About the Role

* 8+ years of experience in SAP Basis Administration
 * Strong hands-on experience with:
 + SAP ECC 6.0 and/or SAP S/4HANA
 + SAP HANA DB administration
 + SAP Solution Manager
 * Expertise in:
 + SAP Transport Management (STMS)
 + SAP System Copy, Refresh, Client Administration
 + Performance tuning and troubleshooting
 * Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows OS
 * Hands-on experience in SAP on Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
 * Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR)
 * Strong communication and client interaction skills
 * Ability to work independently and lead Basis initiatives

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

 * SAP certifications (SAP Basis / HANA / S/4HANA)
 * Experience with SAP Security (roles & authorizations)
 * Exposure to SAP BTP and hybrid landscapes
 * Experience in large enterprise or global SAP environments, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

## Description

* Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager)
 * Perform SAP Basis administration activities including:
 + System monitoring
 + Performance tuning
 + User administration
 + Transport management
 * Lead and support SAP upgrades, migrations, Unicode conversions, and system refreshes
 * Manage SAP HANA databases and OS-level administration
 * Handle SAP Kernel upgrades, SP/EHP upgrades, and patching
 * Perform backup, restore, and disaster recovery planning
 * Support SAP systems on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
 * Monitor system health and resolve production issues (24×7 support when required)
 * Work closely with functional and technical teams to ensure system stability
 * Prepare technical documentation and follow SAP best practices
 * Participate in audits, compliance, and security activities
 * Provide guidance and mentoring to junior Basis consultants
