## Description

TEKsystems Global Retail customer is looking for an experienced Network engineer. They will need engineering and design experience around Cisco Meraki Wireless, SDwan and Fortigate Firewalls. They have roughly 90 retails stores and some of the immediate work will involve hands on configuration of the Meraki wireless devices and shipping Out to the stores. From there, they will work with an onsite partner who does the physical rack and stack. Other work will entrail various improvements across their Meraki environment both Wireless and SD-WAN. Additionally modernizing and maintaining their Fortigate Firewall environment., The Network Engineer II is responsible for independent execution, troubleshooting, and optimization of network infrastructure, supporting both operational stability and project delivery., Independently configure, deploy, and support network and security infrastructure

Troubleshoot complex network issues across LAN, WAN, wireless, and VPN environments

Implement network changes (routing, firewall policies, SD-WAN, wireless tuning)

Lead site deployments (stores, warehouses, offices) including circuit turn-up and validation

Analyze network performance and recommend improvements and optimizations

Support security initiatives (segmentation, NAC, IPS tuning)

Participate in DR testing and incident response, including root cause analysis

Work directly with vendors and MSP to resolve escalated issues

Maintain accurate documentation and configurations

Provide guidance to Engineer I resources
