## About the Role

* 4 to 8 years working experience in the DevOps field.
 * Demonstrable background in Software Development and Build.
 * A good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
 * Strong experience with at least one programming language (Python, Groovy, Java, Golang, C, C++).
 * Experience with Cloudbees CI or Jenkins Pipelines.
 * Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD).
 * Experience of Linux-based infrastructure build, provisioning, and maintenance.
 * Good knowledge of Cloud services, with experience in at least one of the following: AWS (preferred), Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
 * Demonstrable experience in Infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet.

Preferred Skills and Experience

 * Experience working in a Platform Engineering environment. This includes a focus on developer experience and efficiency, and enabling self-service access to infrastructure and systems through automation.
 * Experience of Microservice Software development.
 * Experience using AI-assisted tools or techniques to improve engineering efficiency, productivity, and developer workflows.

## Description

As a Senior Engineer, you will own technical deliveries, with responsibility from requirements through to planning, implementation, and delivery. You will also participate in production support and our paid on-call rota for high-impact incident response. At the heart of our approach is a genuine passion for improving the lives of other Engineers at Arm. We maintain a complete focus on delivering solutions aligned to business outcomes.
Responsibilities

 * Working hands-on with a variety of technologies to provide an outstanding engineering experience for Arm's hardware and software engineers.
 * Software builds and test solutions using CI/CD, binary, secret, and test management.
 * Developing services using SaaS, cloud-based environments, and large-scale clustered compute.
 * Exploiting virtualization and cloud technologies using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
 * Improving the daily life and efficiency of engineers across Arm.
