Right now that work is spread across people who already have full-time jobs. We want one person to own it. As our Data Specialist, you'll keep product details and pricing accurate across thousands of items, build the data files our retail partners depend on, and make sure rental equipment and orders are tracked from start to close. This is an entry-level role and we'll train you on our systems and on industry data standards. What we can't teach is a real eye for detail, so that's what we're looking for most. Product Data and Pricing * Maintain product data in multiple systems for the more than 100,000 products utilized in multiple ways throughout the organization including wholesale ordering portals, ecommerce websites, and customer product feeds. * Take updated price sheets from our vendors and apply them across our websites, portals, and customer data files. * Build and maintain ACES fitment and PIES product attribute files for retailers and parts distributors using our proprietary software. * Run regular audits to catch missing info, broken images, and mismatches between systems. * Work with sales, marketing and independently to gather product information and answer questions about it. * Verify and update inventory counts. 2. Motive Power Date Coordination * Coordinate prep of rental equipment * Keep the rental spreadsheet up to date, adding new customers and equipment with all the rental details * Handle the closing process when rental equipment comes back * Reach out to sales reps for purchase orders when rental equipment is renewed * Update order spreadsheets with timing from our OEMs * Confirm shipped orders have been invoiced, move them to closed, and follow up with Accounts Receivable on anything not invoiced within a week of shipping * Mark equipment on hold or sold in the new inventory spreadsheet at sales reps' requests, and follow up on anything that should have come off the list
