## About the Role

* 3+ years of cybersecurity engineering or DevSecOps experience

 * Experience with DevSecOps tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS Inspector, or AWS Security Hub

 * Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field

 * DoD 8570-compliant IAM, IAT, or IASAE Level I certification

 * Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance after start date

## Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support an organization supporting the Department of the Navy. This position is fully remote andis an exciting opportunity supporting a modernization program focused on radiation exposure management, cybersecurity compliance, and mission-critical operational systems. The DevSecOps Engineer will support the secure development, deployment, and maintenance of software, cloud, and edge-based solutions within the Navy Radiation Exposure Management System (NAVREMS).

Responsibilities:

 * Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for NAVREMS applications and infrastructure

 * Implement automated security scanning, vulnerability management, and compliance checks

 * Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions across AWS GovCloud environments

 * Enforce secure configuration baselines and access controls for cloud and edge systems

 * Support continuous monitoring, incident response, and remediation activities

 * Collaborate with developers and system engineers to integrate security throughout the SDLC
