## About the Role

* 8+ years in cloud or infrastructure architecture, including at least 3 years in a client-facing presales, sales engineering, or solutions consulting role
 * Hands-on solution architect experience designing and implementing cloud environments, not just recommending them
 * Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and working knowledge of the others
 * Active cloud architecture certification, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect
 * Experience positioning and architecting GenAI and AI solutions on cloud platforms, such as AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, or Google Vertex AI
 * Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
 * Background at a consulting firm, systems integrator, or managed services provider
 * Proven track record supporting the full sales cycle: discovery, demos, proposals, RFPs, and SOWs
 * Experience leading cloud migrations, modernization, or hybrid cloud programs for enterprise clients
 * Solid grasp of cloud networking, security, identity, and governance
 * Confidence presenting to both engineering teams and executive leadership
 * Clear, persuasive writing for proposals and solution documents

## Description

We're looking for a Presales Cloud Architect who loves both sides of the work: sitting with clients to understand what they need, and rolling up their sleeves to design the cloud solution that gets them there. You'll help clients build the cloud foundations that make AI work at scale, and show them how to get there. Partnering closely with our sales team, you'll be the trusted technical voice in the room, from the first discovery call through the signed SOW and a clean hand-off to delivery.

This is not a slideware role. We want someone who has built and architected real cloud and AI-ready environments and can speak credibly to engineers and executives alike.

What You'll Do

 * Lead technical discovery sessions and workshops to understand client goals, current environments, and pain points
 * Design hybrid and multi-cloud architectures across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud that solve real business problems
 * Position and architect GenAI and AI solutions on cloud platforms, connecting them to measurable business outcomes
 * Whiteboard solutions, run technical demos, and build proofs of concept that show clients what's possible
 * Own the technical side of RFI and RFP responses, solution proposals, and Statements of Work, including effort estimates and pricing inputs
 * Present solutions and business cases to technical teams and C-level stakeholders
 * Shape cloud migration, modernization, and landing zone strategies with cost, security, and compliance built in
 * Partner with sales, delivery, and our technology partners to win deals and set projects up for success
 * Hand off cleanly to delivery teams so what was sold is what gets built
 * Stay current on cloud and AI platforms and help bring new offerings to market
